Laurel has more than 30 years of experience in management, coaching and consulting with individuals, small businesses, Fortune 100 companies and schools. She has degrees from Cornell University in Hotel Administration and Columbia University in Organizational Psychology. Her passions include sustainable businesses, quality management and helping people of all ages find their home in the world of work.
Laurel has spent many years immersed in leadership, career and organizational development studies, working one-on-one with the country’s leading experts. This work led to the creation of a model for career and leadership development, the foundation for her popular Bright Livelihoods workshops and a book she has completed called Born To Do: The Practical Guide To Loving Your Work. Her previous books include Career Masters and Born to Do You: Life Direction for Teens.
